Dubois Municipal Airport

Friday - Town Park

6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides - (weather permitting) - sponsored by Wyoming Community Bank; Suggested donation: $5 per ride per person.

Saturday - Dubois Municipal Airport

6:30 - 10:00 a.m. Kiwanis FlapJack Fundraiser Breakfast - Adults $5, Children 8 & under $3

8:30 a.m. Opening Ceremony

  • National Anthem sung by Jaci Wilson
  • Welcome by Mayor Patricia Neveaux
  • Remarks by Airport Board President Harold Albright

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

  • Dubois Search & Rescue Training with Tip Top Search and Rescue of Pinedale, Guardian Flight Wyoming, and Classic Air (Weather and Emergency Status permitting)
  • Jr. Flight School - Kids Games & Activities sponsored by Nana's Bowling & Bakery. Complete a Fly-in Passport by visiting the stations and activities at the Fly-in.  Activities include: Kids can make their own kite and learn about airspace around an airport; Explore aerodynamics by designing a paper airplane and testing it out on the airplane obstacle course; Envision yourself as a future pilot by dressing up and taking a picture in the Aviation Photobooth.  And so much more!!
  • Baggage Claim Bingo - Adults can join in the fun by earning a chance to spin the prize wheel featuring prizes from local merchants.
  • Music provided by the Man in Tan.
  • Static Aircraft
  • Registration for Young Eagles flights for youth 8-17 years old (Flights scheduled for Sunday Morning, August 13, beginning at 6:30 am.)
  • Hop on the "Horse & Buggy" for a ride around the airport grounds - led by Percherons Duke & Don - Sponsored by Top Gun Sponsor Justus Jacobs - State Farm.
  • Concessions provided by Upper Warm Valley Homeowners Association

WHAT TO BRING:

Comfortable Walking Shoes, Sunglasses, Hat, Sunscreen, Camera, Money (for breakfast, concessions, raffle tickets, etc.)

Pilots should bring their own tie-downs and sledge hammer and be aware that most of the terrain for parking is grassy and gravelly. Towing will not be available.
